Allow me to introduce myself and tell you more about In The Room.
I’m Adrienne Adhami, an author, TEDx speaker, and brand advisor. Over the last 12 years, I’ve crafted an unconventional, multi-dimensional career: from fitness to tech, from personal branding to boardrooms.
I started in the fitness industry back in 2012 working with athletes, sports brands, women’s magazines, and fitness technology companies. This is where I found my real talent—an ability to motivate people to achieve their goals. I focused on understanding how our daily habits, behaviour, mindset, and environment shape our success. This curiosity led me to explore wearable technology and health data, identifying trends that could help people improve their lives.
Around the same time, I started sharing content on social media, blogging, and collaborating with brands. I learned how to negotiate, read contracts, hit deadlines, and build a personal brand.
By 2018, I launched the Power Hour podcast with a mission to help ordinary people achieve extraordinary things. I honed my interview skills by speaking to hundreds of guests, from CEOs and celebrities to olympic athletes and Harvard professors. Over five million downloads later, it’s safe to say the mission is still going strong.
In 2020, Penguin Random House published my first book Power Hour: How to Focus on Your Goals and Create a Life You Love. It’s available in five languages around the world. (Honestly, this still blows my mind.)
Since then, I’ve delivered talks, workshops, and media events for brands like Google, Spotify, Range Rover, and London Tech Week and I’ve become a board member and brand advisor for several companies. I’ve learnt something valuable at each step along the way and built a network of interesting and brilliant people. Many have now become friends and mentors.
In The Room is where I’ll share what I’ve learned because I’ve spent years getting into rooms where opportunities are created and decisions are made. I know how valuable it is to access those conversations. Not everyone gets that chance, but everyone can benefit from the insights and knowledge shared in those spaces. My goal is to bridge that gap—bringing you in and giving you the insights and strategies to confidently navigate your own path, no matter where you are.
