This is really goooood. I just had to knock off about 3 more goals I added for this year realizing I just don’t have the bandwidth for it. Focus is key! 🔑

This was me for so many years. It is difficult to step away from this dynamic especially when you associate your success with the ability to do so many things at once. But as you mentioned, and as I experienced myself, we all have limits and it is only a matter of time before it catches up to you. Hopefully not too late to where it causes chronic fatigue.

In addition to the great pointers you shared for how to bring back the focus, I would add that your lifestyle is usually both a mirror and a fuel for this dynamic.

It’s incredible how organizing your personal activities to make yourself feel more grounded can help your mind shift into focus more easily. For me, that meant, changing the things I eat a little bit (less coffee, no cold breakfasts, low sugar), having a set meal time (3 meals per day ideally at the same time every day), and starting my mornings with breathing/meditation/slow movement.

Consistently, and over time, these really helped to slow down my mind and it feels like I have more mental capacity for what I put my focus on.

This speaks to me on a deep level. When you have ideas all the time it can be paralyzing!
